I’m a Celebrity…  Get Me Out of Here is set to ban reality television stars, according to reports.
Ahead of the show's return in November, it has been claimed that the show's bosses are keen to attract “credible” names to the show and will omit reality TV stars from the line-up.
Over the past few years, stars from The Only Way Is Essex, Made in Chelsea and Geordie Shore have all appeared on the show in the Australian outback.

Last year, former Geordie Shore star Vicky Pattison, 28, was last year’s Queen of the Jungle.
She beat X Factor contestant George Shelley, 23, and The Only Way Is Essex’s Ferne McCann, 26, who finished second and third.
Other reality stars who have appeared on I’m a Celebrity… include Towie’s Mark Wright, 29, Joey Essex, 26, and Gemma Collins, 35, and Made in Chelsea’s Hugo Taylor, 30, and Spencer Matthews 27.

A number of famous ex-contestants have complained that the reality stars have an “unfair advantage” because they used to being filmed close up.
Others former contestants have commented on the large social media presence the reality stars have and their numerous followers who vote for them.

A source told the Sun: “This year I’m a Celeb… wants to go back to its roots by signing up more cult favorites from the past and current, newsworthy personnel.
“The last series got a ribbing for having so many reality show stars and giving them lots of camera time.
Despite them providing most entertainment, bosses are keen to lure more credible campmates.”
It is believed that I’m a Celebrity… bosses plan to emulate the likes of BBC One’s Strictly Come Dancing, which avoids reality favorites.

The new series, which starts in November, has fallen foul of this new ruling, if the rumors are true.
Gogglebox star Scarlett Moffatt, 26, is said to have signed up to appear on the show, despite an apparent ban from Channel 4.
An insider told the same publication: "Scarlett has gone down really well on Gogglebox and I’m A Celeb producers think she’s a perfect fit for them.
"Her hilarious one-liners and frank views make great telly for Channel 4 so they want a bit of the action."
