Beau Biden Dies Young: Son of Vice President Joe Biden Was 46
The cold hands of death snatched away one young Hero, Beau Biden, the son of Vice President Joe Biden, has passed away. He was 46 years old.
The father of two had been battling brain cancer for several years. The news of Biden's death was confirmed via a statement from the Vice President's office:
"It is with broken hearts that Hallie, Hunter, Ashley, Jill and I announce the passing of our husband, brother and son, Beau, after he battled brain cancer with the same integrity, courage and strength he demonstrated every day of his life.
"The entire Biden family is saddened beyond words."
"We know that Beau’s spirit will live on in all of us - especially through his brave wife, Hallie, and two remarkable children, Natalie and Hunter."
Biden was hospitalized last week for "an episode of disorientation and weakness."
His doctors stated that they expected him to make a full recovery, however.
An attorney, veteran of the Iraq War, and former attorney general for the state of Delaware, Biden had intended to run for governor of his home state in the upcoming 2016 election.
Our thoughts go out to his family at this incredibly difficult time, and to the loved ones and friends of all the celebrities that we've lost in 2015:

Jaden Smith Wears A Funny Dress To Prom with Amandla Stenberg
He was present; Jaden Smith. Let no one ever say Jaden Smith mails in his prom attire.
The actor, who recently attended one of these events while dressed as a superheo, accompanied actress Amandla Stenberg to her prom yesterday...
... and he did so while donning a dress.
Stenberg shared the above photo on her Instagram page Friday, showing off her shining bronze dress and also Jaden's outfit, which includes a black blazer over a long dress that hangs down past the actor/singer's knees.
Will and Jada's son is also rocking black skinny pants, sneakers and a white-and-gold fingerless glove on one hand.
Back in April, Jaden Smith also wore a dress in public, causing the Internet to collectively lose its mind while wondering why.
Amandla Stenberg, meanwhile, is best known for playing Rue in The Hunger Games.
She made headlines of her own last month when she slammed Miley Cyrus and Katy Perry for stealing and exploiting black culture.

Enrique Iglesias Slices Drone Hand Injury: See the Footage!
Just in one word: OUCH!!!!!!!!
Enrique Iglesias was performing a concert in Tijuana on Saturday night when a drone flew over the stage.
As he has done a few times in the past on tour, Iglesias reached up and grab the futuristic apparatus in order to spin it around and give the fans in attendance shots from his point of view.
This time, however, the sexy artist grabbed the drone in the wrong placed and it sliced open his hand. Badly.
Ever the trooper, Iglesias continued with the show for 30 minutes, donning a blood-soaked t-shirt throughout.
He was then taken by ambulance to a hospital before flying to Los Angeles to meet with a hand specialist.
Check out the scary footage above.

2015 Celebrity Breakups: The Year of the Split!
Plenty of celebrities broke up in 2015, as they do every year.
But this year ... this was a year that produced some truly noteworthy splits. For a time, it was like you couldn't go a week without one.
Heck, it wasn't even like that, it was that. It was incredible.
Some couples were more high-profile than others, of course, and some romances felt destined to last forever while others ... did not.
But man alive, this year was a doozy. Let's take a look back ...
1. Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner
Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner announced they were divorcing nearly 10 years after they got married. Rumors of their split have surfaced for months and were eventually confirmed ... along with a firestorm of rumors that Ben slept with family nanny Christine Ounouzian.
2. Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert
This one was pretty epic. Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert broke up after four years of marriage - and their divorce was already final by the time they announced it. Short and sweet, right? Wrong. Myriad cheating allegations and no small amount of bitterness followed, along with his abrupt rebound romance with ...
3. Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale
Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale were married for 13 years before parting ways in August 2015. Almost immediately, she took up with Blake Shelton while Gavin, like Ben Affleck, was linked to the nanny. Note to female celebrities: Don't hire attractive 25-year-old nannies. Or just divorce these a-- hats now if you're particularly worried about this.
4. Zayn Malik and Perrie Edwards
So much for this sweet kiss. Zayn broke Perrie's heart and called off their engaged in July ... right around the time he broke up with One Direction no less. He's since moved on with Gigi Hadid. Will he upgrade musically as well? (Sorry Perrie.)
5. Big Sean and Ariana Grande
We admit being a little sad about this one. The public declarations of love after their friendship led to so much more from mid-2014 to mid-2015 gave us real hope for these two ... but the breakup was swift and a little contentious. Gotta "Focus" on careers? We're not buying it.
6. Karrueche Tran and Chris Brown
Yes, they split up before, but it looks like this one is for good. That's what happens when you're revealed to be the father of a nine-month old, unbeknownst to your "bae." Vintage Chris Brown.
7. Jenelle Evans and Nathan Griffith
Ditto this one. After many near-misses, Teen Mom 2 tandem Jenelle Evans and Nathan Griffith have broken up for good ... after two years, one child and about 300 fights.
8. Patrick Dempsey and Jillian Fink
Patrick Dempsey and his wife Jillian called it quits right around the time he got the chop from Grey's Anatomy. Both were shocking to fans. Midlife crisis much?
9. Britney Spears and Charlie Ebersol
The couple unexpectedly called it quits after eight months of dating. It's like we barely got to know Charlie and his sketchy ways. Don't ask us why, but he seemed like he was always putting on a front or up to no good.
10. Leah Messer and Jeremy Calvert
Teen Mom 2 star Leah Messer and Jeremy Calvert had been through the wringer multiple times over the course of their tumultuous marriage, but it is over for good in 2015. The divorce papers have been filed and finalized. She's now at two ex-husbands before age 25.
11. Josiah Duggar and Marjorie Jackson
Duggar breakups are so rare - even Anna Duggar hasn't booted Josh to the curb, for crying out loud - that the end of the courtship of Josiah Duggar and Marjorie Jackson was truly noteworthy. And likely caused indirectly by Josh come to think of it.
12. Chris Soules and Whitney Bischoff
Chris Soules and Whitney Bischoff from The Bachelor got engaged on the show's season finale in March 2015 ... and broke up by the end of May, if not earlier than that. Pretty standard for The Bachelor.

Taylor Swift Fans Fold 1,989 Paper Cranes in Honor of Idol's Sick Mother
No celebrity does more for her fans than Taylor Swift.
So it's only appropriate that a couple of fans have paid Swift back... and what a way in which they have paid Swift back!
Meet Salt Lake City residents Sam and Jo Brady. The little girls started folding paper cranes a few months ago because Japanese folklore says this allows one to be granted one wish.
In honor of Taylor's smash hit album, Jo and Sam actually folded 1,989 cranes - but then they changed their wish from tickets to a Taylor Swift concert to something far more important and profound.
“We thought that we should probably wish for her to get better and kick cancer’s butt,” says Sam in this home video, addressing her idol and adding:
“My mom will be shipping the cranes to you to give to your mom.”
How amazing is that?!?
We then see 1,989 paper cranes get dropped on to the heads of these selfless children.
Who, we're just guessing here, will end up receiving tickets to a Taylor Swift concert from Taylor herself once she sees this video. We love it.
Taylor Swift reveals a lot in her songs, but there's plenty that you probably don't know. Check out our list of surprising Taylor Swift facts here and respond:
Which is MOST stunning?
1. Her First Job Was Knocking Bugs Out of Christmas Trees
We're guessing she prefers singing.
2. She Made an Awesome Drake Needlepoint for Ed Sheeran
Taylor immortalized Drake's lyrics as a gift for Ed Sheeran. As funny as it is thoughtful
Taylor said that she still gets "chills" when performing the deeply personal ballad.
4. Her Worst Nightmare? Losing Her Fans!
Taylor has said she has a recurring dream in which no one goes to her concerts!
5. She's a Poet and Author!
Taylor won a national poetry award in 4th grade. She a wrote a 350-pade novel shortly thereafter and has hinted that she may publish it eventually.

5 Celebrities Who Memorably Ran For Political Office
Roseanne Barr in the Oval Office? It could've happened.
In 2012, the longtime sitcom star launched a gonzo campaign for the presidency, which is chronicled in new documentary Roseanne for President! (in theaters Friday in New York and Los Angeles, via iTunes and on demand). Running as a candidate for the California-based Peace and Freedom Party, she earned more than 65,000 votes but lost to President Obama.
Barr joins a slew of famous people who have made the leap into politics, includingRonald Reagan, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Donald Trump and Kanye West, who announced last summer that he's running for president in 2020. Here are a few more celebrities who had political designs:
Clint Eastwood
It's impossible to forget the grizzled actor/director's infamous speech at the 2012 Republican National Convention, where he addressed an empty chair representing Obama. But the extent of Eastwood's politics goes beyond his derided skit: Running on a pro-business platform, he was elected mayor of Carmel-by-the-Sea, Calif., in 1986. During his two-year term, he earned $200 a month, which he donated to a local youth center.
Sonny Bono
In light of his dwindling music and acting career after divorcing Cher in 1975, the conservative entertainer embarked on a successful political career. In 1988, he was elected mayor of Palm Springs, Calif., an office he held for four years. Although he lost his bid for the Republican nomination for the U.S. Senate in 1992, he was elected to the House two years later, representing California's 44th Congressional District until he died in a skiing accident in 1998 at age 62.
Howard Stern
In 1994, the popular shock jock surprised listeners when he revealed on his radio show that he'd be running for governor of New York as a Libertarian. "It doesn't matter if you find me offensive," he announced. "I'll get out of office before I can really screw anything up." Promising to reinstate the death penalty and order road construction crews to only work at night, Stern was scorned by the media and eventually dropped out of the race, after refusing to disclose his personal finances.
Wyclef Jean
The Haitian rapper, whose family moved to the USA when he was 9, tried to run for president of his native country in 2010, eight months after a devastating earthquake that killed 316,000 people. "I feel like I'm being drafted by the population right now to give them a different face, a different voice," Jean told CNN's Wolf Blitzer that August. But his bid was swiftly rejected by Haiti's provisional electoral council, for not meeting the requirement that presidential candidates must live in the country for at least five consecutive years before running.
Waka Flocka Flame
In 2015, the Atlanta rapper made good on his tweeted promise that he was running for president — announcing his candidacy in an interview with Rolling Stone. He even went so far as to shoot a campaign video and canvass on the streets of New York, urging people to sign a petition to include him on the 2016 ballot. But after realizing he was too young (at 29, six years younger than the minimum 35), the hip-hop star changed course, jokingly making his bid for speaker of the House in a Funny Or Dievideo last fall.
